The Salon’s Nonprofit Women Peer Support Group is a small and private space for regional women non-profit directors to connect, learn, share experiences and provide peer-led advice on navigating your community and organizational leadership during this turbulent time. This peer support group will be a safe space, where you can just show up, listen, share, bring your authentic self both personally and professionally, and exchange years and years of experience with your peers.
Our gatherings are virtual, one-hour monthly conversations over lunch. They re designed as open discussions where you can ask questions (anonymously or out-loud) you typically can’t find the answers for online, from your board, or in other professional communities.
This peer support group is for participants who value and seek trust and privacy, vulnerability and non-judgement. Lessons can leave, but stories and identities stay. No sharp elbows. The group will operate from the motto of “When you want to go fast, go alone; when you want to go far, go together.” –African Proverb.
