In this free, live virtual session, participants will learn how their organization’s messaging impacts crucial areas within their organizations as well as how to determine where it might be failing.
Specifically, the webinar will review the impact any organization’s message has on:
- Overall efficiency
- Talent management, including board recruitment, and
- Media relations.
For each area, we will give participants a framework for grading the effectiveness of their current message. They will also have ample opportunity to ask questions specific to their situations.

Douglas Spencer is the founder and president at Spencer Brenneman, LLC. He has more than 30 years of branding and marketing experience, working with professionals from around the world in verticals such as financial and professional services, tech, higher education, healthcare, and not-for-profits. Before starting Spencer Brenneman, he was Vice President, Global Head of Brand Management for Thomson Reuters.
A lifelong volunteer, including two years as chairman of a $100 million community health center and research institute, Douglas is intimately aware of the challenges facing mission-driven organizations.
